Getting paid in MVR: schedule and methods

When payouts run, what the minimum is, which rails are supported, and how long each one takes to land.
Commission is paid in Maldivian rufiyaa. There is no conversion step and no FX spread taken on the way out.
The schedule
Payouts run on the 5th of each month, covering the previous calendar month. If the 5th falls on a Friday or public holiday, the run moves to the next working day.
Minimum payout
MVR 1,000. Below that, the balance rolls into the next month — it is never forfeited.
Supported rails
| Method | Typical arrival | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Bank of Maldives transfer | Same day | None |
| Maldives Islamic Bank | 1 working day | None |
| Ooredoo m-Faisaa | Within an hour | None |
| Dhiraagu Pay | Within an hour | None |
| USDT | Within an hour | Network fee only |
Bank transfers are the default. Mobile wallets are capped at MVR 25,000 per payout by the providers themselves, so larger balances route to bank transfer automatically.
Before your first payout
Verification must be complete: identity document, and a bank statement or wallet screenshot showing the account name matching your affiliate account. This is a one-off step, but it takes up to 48 hours — do it well before the 5th rather than on it.
Missing or delayed payment
If a payout has not arrived by the end of the 6th, raise it with the programme team. The most common cause is a name mismatch between the affiliate account and the receiving account, which banks reject silently.
