How the weekly board is scored

What decides your position, why member count is shown but not ranked on, and how masking works.
The board on the home page ranks affiliates for the current period. Placement decides who takes the prizes.
What the ranking uses
Total deposit volume from your referred members over the period. That is the only input to the order.
Member count is published next to it for context — 400 members at MVR 4,000 each reads very differently from 40 members at MVR 40,000 each — but it does not move you up or down.
Why volume and not commission
Commission depends on your tier, and tiers differ between affiliates. Ranking on commission would put a Platinum affiliate ahead of a Starter who referred identical volume. Volume is the same yardstick for everybody.
The period
A period runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59, Malé time. The board is published within 24 hours of close and stands for the following week.
Masking
Only the first two characters of each nickname appear publicly — Ahmed_MV shows as Ah\\\*. This was a participant request: recognition without identification. The programme team sees full nicknames; the public page never receives them.
What does not count
- Deposits from accounts flagged for duplicate identity
- Self-referrals
- Members who charge back within the period
These are removed before the board is published, which is why final figures can differ slightly from your live dashboard.
